Qualifications

• 10+ years of mainframe development experience.
• Strong COBOL programming proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with IMS/DB and IMS/DC concepts.
• Knowledge of CICS transaction processing and JCL scripts.
• Experience in IBM z/OS environments, batch processing, and data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Work with IMS databases including IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• Develop and support CICS-based transaction processing.
• Write, execute, and maintain JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Operate in IBM z/OS environments and troubleshoot issues.
• Support mainframe data set management and basic system administration.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity of applications.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and production support teams.
• Follow established mainframe standards and procedures.
