Job summary

Quantum Technologies LLC seeks a Mainframe Developer – IMS and CICS in Jersey City, NJ for a 12-month engagement with extension possibilities. You will develop and maintain COBOL-based mainframe applications and collaborate across teams in a IBM z/OS environment.

You will work with IMS/DB, IMS/DC, and CICS, write JCL for batch jobs, ensure performance and data integrity, and support system administration tasks as needed. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Work with IMS/DB and IMS/DC databases.
• Develop and support CICS-based transaction processing applications.
• Write, execute, and maintain JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Work in IBM z/OS environments and troubleshoot issues.
• Support mainframe data set management and basic system administration.
• Ensure application reliability, performance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and production support teams.
• Follow established mainframe development standards and procedures.
