Job summary

New York Technology Partners in Wilmington, DE seeks a seasoned COBOL/CICS/IMS developer to design, implement and integrate banking applications. You will write secure, high‑quality code and coordinate with product teams to meet complex requirements.

Experience with MQ Series, IMS DB and JCL is essential; you will also help create test regions, maintain legacy systems and ensure regulatory compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, CICS & DB2.
• Expertise in CICS Programming including knowledge of CICS Screen Programming is mandatory.
• Experience with building and maintaining new Test regions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements solutions that address complex business challenges, enhancing data-driven decisions and operational efficiency.
• Prepares architecture and design documents for complex Banking applications.
• Develops secure and high-quality code that runs in sync with other subsystems.
• Troubleshoots problems, works with Product Teams and stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate them into design/development.
