Job summary

Stradit LLC seeks a Senior Mainframe Capacity Planning Engineer to monitor, analyze, and report mainframe processing capacity. The role involves collecting and validating system and volume data, with SAS-driven reporting and a solid statistics background.

Knowledge of MICS/MXG and mainframe components is essential, along with experience in data-driven decision support. The candidate will design reports, manage JCL in ISPF, and contribute to documentation and risk assessments across business

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree in a mathematics / statistics discipline preferred or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Run and validate the Data Collection and Reporting process using scheduling software.
Design basic reports using SAS
Build and Edit JCL in ISPF
Creating / Updating policies, job aids and other documentation
Learn MICS/MXG Database Architecture
Diagnose MICS related errors.
Able to execute and validate MICS administrative tasks to maintain proper maintenance.
Basic methods to Summarize Data
Display data in an organized manner.
Able to identify, describe patterns and relationships.
Collection and reporting of business volume data from varied sources.
Risk assessments of extreme market conditions for selected business streams
Produce/update a Business Process Requirements document for selected business streams.
Organize and store Capacity Planning artifacts in their proper location for future retrieval.
Ad hoc report development for senior business and management forums
Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
