Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer focused on automation. This remote US role places you on a team accelerating automation design and integration across platforms like z/OSMF and OPS/MVS, with a strong emphasis on proactive performance and incident prevention.

You will work in an agile environment, bridging tool capabilities with business requirements and delivering scalable automation solutions to improve client experiences.

Qualifications

BS Degree in computer science or related field and 10 years' development experience preferred.
Experience building automation for mainframe environments.
Experience with NetView SA is required.
Familiarity with ITIL and ITOM/ITSM practices beneficial.

Responsibilities

Design automation for mainframe platforms and integrate tools into environments.
Bridge tool capabilities with client requirements to improve automation.
Identify opportunities to automate corrective steps in response to alerts.
Deliver solutions using agile development methodology.
Analyze performance of existing tools to detect gaps before incidents.
