You will analyze, debug, and develop high‑performance code for our mainframe product family and contribute to testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development with IBM z/Architecture 31‑bit and 64‑bit assembler instructions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IBM z/OS architecture, software and utilities.
• Commitment to high code quality and performance.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Ability to combine judgment, experience, analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
• Useful experience with zIIP, zEDC, Sysplex.
• Experience with Network Protocols (TCP/IP, CTCA, FCTC, XCF, VTAM).
• Ability to work in a geographically distributed team.
• Self‑motivated and continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize IBM mainframe assembler code in the z/OS environment.
• Analyze, debug, and develop high‑performance code for products.
• Implement and test new code or enhancements for existing products.
• Provide guidance and collaboration for QA and documentation.
• Own issues and proactively test products to avoid problems.
• Contribute creative ideas for product features.
