Job summary

BMC Software is seeking an Assembler Developer (z/OS) to enhance its core mainframe product, BMC AMI Ops Automation for Batch ThruPut. This position requires significant expertise in Assembler, job scheduling, and z/OS internals to maintain optimal performance and stability.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience with z/OS and extensive knowledge of IBM mainframe environments to ensure our software solutions drive business value for our global clients.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience with z/OS Processing Environment.
• At least 7 years of experience in IBM coding and development using Assembler.
• Strong experience working with JES2.
• Excellent knowledge of z/OS structure and logic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver software solutions using Assembler.
• Design, code, and conduct defect fixes of software.
• Produce high-quality design options reflecting technical knowledge.
• Mentor the development team.
