Job summary

Broadcom’s Mainframe Software Division seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and support mainframe security solutions. You will work on the mainframe platform using Assembler (HLASM) on z/OS in an Agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development, strong mainframe knowledge, and experience with Endevor/JCL. Expect minimal travel and a comprehensive benefits package, including equity options and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience, or Masters in Engineering with 3+ years.
• Proven Mainframe knowledge and skills.
• IBM Assembler Language (HLASM) proficiency.
• z/OS familiarity.
• Source control experience (Endevor).
• Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Experience/Knowledge of z/VM or IMS is a plus.

Responsibilities
