Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist at our Big Lake, MN facility. You will produce precision parts through setup and operation of machining equipment, interpreting drawings, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ machinist experience in manufacturing or production.
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Plan machining and assembly sequences.
• Set up and operate machining equipment to make precision parts.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Follow processes for machining and assembly operations.
• Fit and assemble machined components into full assemblies.
• Perform drilling, tapping, deburring, finishing as needed.
• Inspect parts with precision tools and verify specs.
• Document production and quality data accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and inspection teams.
• Troubleshoot and improve machining/assembly processes.
