Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist in New Brighton, MN to produce precision parts and assemblies. You will set up and operate machining equipment, interpret drawings, and ensure parts meet engineering, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year's machinist experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available for this position.

Responsabilités

• Plan materials and determine machining and assembly sequences.
• Set up and operate machining equipment to manufacture precision parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Follow processes to perform machining and assembly operations.
• Fit, align, and assemble machined components into complete assemblies.
• Perform drilling, tapping, deburring, finishing operations.
• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools.
• Verify conformance to specifications and quality requirements.
• Complete production, inspection and quality documentation on time.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and inspection teams to meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues, improve processes and reduce scrap.
• Support continuous improvement and mentor less-experienced machinists.
• Maintain a safe, clean 5S work environment.
