Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in complex machining operations.
• Read blueprints and apply mathematical calculations to complete jobs.
• May include CNC programming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, millers, shapers, grinders, planers and power drills.
• Work from blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Perform diversified machining operations such as boring, turning, facing, reaming, grinding, milling and tapering.
• Manufacture parts from layouts, with tolerances often tight; perform calculations for feeds, speeds, and sequences.
• Check own work with gauges and instruments and ensure conformance to drawings.
