Job summary

Benchmark is seeking a skilled machinist in Concord, California, to perform diversified general maintenance activities in a full-time role. You will set up and operate various machinery, and engage in complex machining operations, including turning and grinding.

Qualified candidates should have 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably including CNC programming, and a technical degree is preferred. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $36.54 to $54.80 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits.

• 6+ years of experience in complex machining operations; may include CNC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.
• Experience in mathematical calculations for machining.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, millers, shapers, grinders, and power drills.
• Perform highly diversified machining operations such as boring, turning, and grinding.
• Determine and maintain operational sequences and proper feeds and speeds.
