Job summary

Nissha Medical Technologies in Buffalo, NY is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to keep our manufacturing equipment running reliably and safely.

You will perform machining, setup, and repair tasks on various machine shop equipment, train junior mechanics, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Facilities to drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with ISO and FDA standards.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• 5–7 years mechanic experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Technical/Mechanical training certificates or coursework.

Responsibilities

• Machining replacement parts, project components, and prototypes.
• Provide maintenance support and troubleshooting for manufacturing equipment.
• Set up and operate machine shop equipment (saws, drills, mills, lathes, grinders, CNC, etc.).
• Train A, B, and C level mechanics on advanced maintenance tasks.
• Comply with ISO, FDA and other industry standards.
