Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Operates and sets up manual machines like lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders.
• Programs CNC machines based on machine language and part specs.
• Inspects parts for conformance with tight tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Strong basic math skills and ability to work from documented specs.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints for product specifications and tolerances.
• Operate manual machines (lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders).
• Set up tooling and machine parameters for milling and turning operations.
• Program CNC machines according to part drawings and processes.
• Inspect finished parts and document results with reports.
