Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team in the United States.

The role demands advanced expertise in machining processes, CNC programming, blueprint reading, and precision measurement to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in a shop environment, be proficient with manual and CNC machines, and be able to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Willingness to support policy of a drug-free work environment.
• 10+ years' experience as machinist in a shop environment or equivalent combination of position related education.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Basic math skills.
• Use of hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers) as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Willingness to work in both shop and field environments.
• Must possess a current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints for product specification such as dimension and tolerance.
• Operate manual machines (lathes, mills, drill presses, lapping machines, grinders, etc.).
• Understand tooling and utilization for mills and lathes.
• Inspect parts for conformance to requirements with tight tolerances.
• Program various CNC machines based on machine language.
• Must have VTL and HBMs experience.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete paperwork and inspection reports to maintain records.
• Work independently and perform other duties as required.
