Job summary

Burkert USA Corp is seeking an experienced machinist to join a high-volume production environment. You will perform CNC and manual machining, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and ensure process conformity with SPC and ERP/MRP systems.

Candidates should have 5+ years hands-on experience, strong tool knowledge across Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain controls, and a solid safety record. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required with a focus on quality and throughput.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on machining experience in a high-volume production environment.
Advanced knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain) and manual machining operations.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, SPC, and in-process inspection methods.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and electronic data entry is a plus.
Ability to interpret complex work instructions and adjust processes to meet shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T callouts, and manufacturing instructions for accurate machining operations.
Set up, operate, adjust, and program CNC and manual machines for production runs.
Meet daily/shift production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Perform initial dimensional inspections and in-process verifications to ensure product conformity.
Identify machining issues, tooling wear, or equipment failures and take corrective action.
