Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a manual machinist in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in operating Browne & Sharpe machines.
• Extensive knowledge of Tool and Die practices.
• Proficient with CAM software for production processes.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Solid understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong safety record and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Browne & Sharpe machines for efficient production.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine methods.
• Select gauge and type of sheet metal per specs.
• Mark layouts on material and develop patterns.
• Shape metal workpieces with hand tools as needed.
• Utilize CAM software to design production processes.
• Collaborate with Tool and Die team to set up dies.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on machinery.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and ensure compliance with standards.
