Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

1. 1. Operating and maintaining Browne & Sharpe machines to ensure efficient and quality production.
2. 2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
3. 3. Selecting gauge and type of sheet metal according to product specifications.
4. 4. Laying out and marking dimensions and reference lines on material, using scribers, dividers, squares, and rulers, applying knowledge of shop mathematics and layout techniques to develop and trace patterns of product or parts.
5. 5. Forming or shaping metal workpieces with hammers or other small hand tools.
6. 6. Utilizing CAM software to design and implement production processes.
7. 7. Working in conjunction with the Tool and Die team to ensure all dies are properly set up and functional.
8. 8. Ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
9. 9. Regularly inspecting and performing necessary minor maintenance on the machinery.
10. 10. Resolving machine malfunctions and ensuring it meets all set specifications and standards.

Qualifications:
