Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Manual Machinist in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with Browne & Sharpe machines.
• Extensive knowledge of Tool and Die practices.
• Proficiency in CAM software for production processes.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• High attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Browne & Sharpe machines to ensure efficient and quality production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine fabrication steps.
• Select gauge and type of sheet metal according to product specifications.
• Layout dimensions on material using scribers, dividers, squares, and rulers; apply shop math.
• Form metal workpieces using hand tools.
• Utilize CAM software to design and implement production processes.
• Coordinate with the Tool and Die team to ensure dies are set up and functional.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and ensure parts meet specifications.
