Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience in machining, fabrication, welding, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, and laboratory/shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and coordinate repairs for machine shop and research lab equipment.
• Design, fabricate, and assist with custom experimental apparatus and research equipment.
• Lead safety training and enforce lab/shop safety practices; mentor student employees.
