Job summary

Altium Packaging in Phoenix, AZ is seeking experienced Machine Technicians to operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyors on the night shift. You will troubleshoot process issues, perform minor maintenance, and ensure GMP compliance to keep production lines running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of blow mold operation experience, with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years’ experience as a machine operator and 3+ years’ blow mold machine operation required.
• Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills are required.
• Machine maintenance experience
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Ability to work overtime
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance to keep production lines running.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control procedures.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and mechanical changes (mold, neck, blow pins).
• Change colors efficiently with minimal product loss.
• Run two lines consistently and train entry-level operators.
