Job summary

True Anomaly seeks hands-on engineering leaders to own production strategy for machined components from receipt to final inspection. You will drive manufacturability with design teams and scale to high-rate production, balancing quality, cost, and schedule in a hybrid Long Beach, CA environment.

Ideal candidates have aerospace or defense experience, strong CNC and GD&T skills, and a track record of leading cross-functional teams to optimize processes and equipment qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace engineering or related field.
• Experience in machine shop operations for high-reliability systems.
• Hands-on CNC programming with major CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Lead machine shop operations to achieve throughput and cost objectives.
• Create detailed manufacturing plans and work instructions for machining and inspection.
• Lead equipment selection, installation, qualification, and maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement with metrics, root-cause analysis, and documentation.
