The role emphasizes safety, schedule attainment and cost-effective production on the Montville, NJ floor. You will lead daily production targets, manage bottlenecks, supervise 10+ machinists, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree or technical certification required.
• 10+ years in machine shop, aerospace/defense preferred.
• 3+ years supervising 10+ CNC and manual machinists.
• Proficient with CNC/manual machines and precision parts.
• Lean/Cellular manufacturing experience; AS9100/ISO familiarity.
• Strong communication; US citizenship; travel 15–20%.

Aufgaben

• Oversee machining ops, throughput, maintenance and QA.
• Directly manage workflow of customer work orders with Shop Leads.
• Ensure tooling, fixtures and machines are optimized.
• Maintain safety, schedule attainment and cost-effective production.
• Lead daily alignment, bottleneck mitigation and overtime planning.
• Establish first-piece inspections and final audits; address NCRs.
