Job summary

Custom Pipe and Fabrication seeks a Machine Operator III in Grand Island, NE. This full-time role operates machinery under close supervision to ensure safe, efficient production and quality parts.

Responsibilities include setting speeds, feeding materials, inspecting parts with measurement tools, performing basic maintenance, reading drawings, and logging production. Will mentor Operator I/II and support a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols (PPE).
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop the machine safely without supervision.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed).
• Load raw material or unfinished parts; remove finished parts safely.
• Check part quality with designated measurement instruments.
• Read and understand drawings.
• Perform basic maintenance: cleaning and lubrication.
• Mentor Machine Operator I/II as needed.
• Record machine actions and log completed parts.
• Keep a clean and orderly work area.
• Support and train coworkers as assigned.
