Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in Oakland, MS is hiring a Machine Operator III on the 10BIN Line 9. Under supervision of Production Lead, you will run and monitor equipment to maximize output while ensuring product quality and proper documentation.

You will perform setup, start-up, operation, and changeovers, conduct quality checks, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

This role requires attention to GMPs and accurate production records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing operator experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, utilizing basic math skills and auditing paperwork.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; to work in confined areas, to lift up to 50 lbs. or more.
• Must be able to work overtime and weeks-ends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.
• Perform line set up, start up, operations, closing and changeover of equipment.
• Ensure product quality are met throughout process.
• Performs checks and inspections to verify quality.
• Performs adjustments as necessary.
• Performs machine setups in accordance to applicable procedures and setup sheets.
• Accurately completes and maintains all production records.
• Responsible for reporting problems to department lead.
• Adequate housekeeping at all times during shift, creating an organized layout for all personnel.
• Review and assure appropriate adherence with quality, safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as directed by the lead.
