Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in Oakland, MS is hiring a Machine Operator III on the 10BIN Line 9. Under supervision of Production Lead, you will run and monitor equipment to maximize output while ensuring product quality and proper documentation.

You will perform setup, start-up, operation, and changeovers, conduct quality checks, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

This role requires attention to GMPs and accurate production records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing operator experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, utilizing basic math skills and auditing paperwork.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; to work in confined areas, to lift up to 50 lbs. or more.
• Must be able to work overtime and weeks-ends as necessary.

Overview

Machine operators make sure machines are well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output. Visually inspect production run and document results. Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area.
