Job summary

Responsibilities include operating and cleaning fillers, performing preventive maintenance, changeovers, documenting activity in real time, and collaborating with supervisors to meet line targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience operating machinery and handling GMPs and product specifications.
• SPC (weight control).
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate and get along with other employees.
• Ability to read SOPs.
• Basic computer skills, necessary to operate equipment controls.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Assumes personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace and adheres to safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains GMP and sanitation practices and reports conditions affecting food safety or quality.
• Operates, cleans, and conducts preventive maintenance on fillers and related equipment.
• Plans and leads changeover activities for fillers and date coding, coordinating resources and communication with supervision.
• Alerts Supervisor to mechanical problems and ensures proper documentation in real time.
• Maintains line safety, S-Max targets, and material shrinkage targets.
• Maintains communication with ESL Pasteurizer operators for efficient operation.
• Participates in continuous improvement efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
