Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and have a HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess basic mechanical and mathematical knowledge with analytical skills.
• Willingness to cross-train in other Machine Operator IV Non-Senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Sets up deep draw machine by inserting tooling, dies, spacers and rams using an overhead hoist.
• Starts up deep draw machine and checks oil levels and pressures.
• Inspects shells for defects and removes excess material.
• Maintains and calibrates testing equipment and records data from assembly lines.
• Operates trimming and piercing machines, adjusting speed and tooling as needed.
• Starts Udylite system, heats solutions and ensures correct levels in tanks.
• Conducts preventative maintenance tasks and keeps work areas clean and safe.
• Reads and interprets prints, setup instructions and control plans to ensure proper assembly.
