Job summary

Amcor LLC in Monroe, LA, is seeking a Senior Machine Operator to lead the Low Density, High Density, and Packing lines. You will supervise extrusion operations, coordinate the pack area, ensure safety, quality and production goals are met, and drive continuous improvement with maintenance support.

The role requires experience with extrusion lines, forklift/electric pallet jack training, and strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience in a team-work oriented environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of extrusion/converting equipment and process is desired.
• Fork lift and electric pallet jack training is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow and support all Company safety and GMP requirements.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies.
• Monitor multiple lines to maintain output and quality standards.
• Direct packers, machine operators and senior team leaders to perform quality inspections.
• Start machines up and perform changeovers; maximize equipment efficiencies to meet goals.
• Input downtime and production into the computer for the entire shift; maintain Packing Summary Sheet.
