Job summary

Clemens Food Group is seeking a skilled Machine Operator IV for the Tyrone, PA facility. This role operates and sets up complex machinery, performs routine maintenance, and ensures product quality and production goals are met.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a safety-focused mindset. Training will be provided to qualified applicants as part of this full-time position on the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Advanced-level machine operation experience with specialized equipment training preferred.
• Lockout/Tagout certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to optimize machinery for quality, output and line efficiency.
• Excellent documentation and recordkeeping skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sophisticated production machinery to maintain efficient and continuous production.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, including blade changes, machine setup, cleaning, and tear-down.
• Adjust machinery for optimal product quality, yield, and line speed using product specs.
• Maintain production records and logs (e.g., weight sheets, run-time logs).
• Maintain LOTO safety practices and follow safety protocols.
• Read and enter data in English with attention to detail.
• Direct workflow and collaborate with team members to meet targets.
