Position: Senior Machine Operator

Lineage Metals seeks to hire a Senior Machine Operator for our Nashville, TN location. Key candidate attributes include a safety and quality mindset, with proven self-start and team player experience. The ideal candidate will bring a desire to learn and grow with our organization.

Role/Responsibilities:

The Senior Machine Operator is responsible for set-up and operation of metal fabrication equipment, including but not limited to sheet metal folders, slitters, breaks, and shears. Additionally, the Senior Machine Operator must read and interpret drawings to accurately and efficiently fabricate metal to specifications.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and demonstrable use of measurement tools such as rulers, measuring tapes, and micrometers.
• Working knowledge of metal fabrication equipment, including machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, bend, and lift objects overhead.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Additional Preferences:

• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• Forklift/Powered Lift training and experience.
• Mechanical background.
• OSHA 10 training.
