Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join the Engineering AI Team within the Digital Engineering Organization. The role focuses on accelerating end-to-end AI/ML solutions across design, production, and sustainment, and on building and maintaining AI platforms and best practices.

You will work on physics-informed models, computer vision, NLP/LLM, and related AI capabilities, with responsibilities spanning data gathering, training, deployment, and monitoring across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of relevant digital and/or engineering experience.
• Advanced Degree in a related field with 5 years of relevant digital and/or engineering work experience.
• Hands-on experience with Data and AI or Digital-driven Engineering applications and AI components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AI/ML solutions into engine design, development, production, and sustainment domains.
• Build, test, deploy, and monitor AI systems across multiple use cases (design optimization, inspection, productivity).
• Define, document, and train AI/ML best practices; architect and maintain AI platform ecosystems.
