Job summary

Caylent is a cloud-native services company delivering AWS-based ML solutions. The Senior Machine Learning Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, train, and deploy ML models on AWS, focusing on feature design, model metadata, and scalable inference.

Regular standups and client-facing agile ceremonies are part of the role. The role emphasizes MLOps, data processing, and advanced analytics, with a remote-first setup and ongoing learning opportunities across a globally

Qualifications

• Strong experience in building ML models for real world applications.
• Experience with AWS ML services/SageMaker or ML libraries such as Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Experience with data processing platforms like Spark, Hadoop, or streaming platforms; Python/Pandas, PySpark, Scala, SQL.
• Understanding of feature definition, model metadata, hyperparameter tuning, SGD, deep learning layers and activations.
• Experience in visualization using SageMaker, ggplot, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
• Experience with IaC tools such as CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to deliver ML solutions on AWS for clients.
• Participate in daily standups and agile ceremonies.
• Develop and deploy ML models, MLOps, and analytics solutions.
• Prepare training data and perform big data processing for model training.
