You will collaborate with marketing and multi-disciplinary teams to define architectures, integrate hardware and software, and drive safety-focused solutions.

You will apply electrical, software, and mechanical engineering expertise to create robust system designs, mentor junior engineers, and influence product strategy while traveling up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of embedded product development experience.
• 3+ years of functional safety product development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design earthmoving and paving machine control systems.
• Collaborate on system architectures, product design, and verification.
• Contribute to product safety concepts and architectures.
• Decompose system and safety requirements into subsystems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on V-model execution.
• Support hardware component selection and design.
• Define machine control networks, interfaces, and messaging.
• Participate in hazard and risk analyses and FMEDA activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
