Job summary

Alliance Automation, LLC is hiring a Machine Builder Level 3 to assemble, integrate, and test automated machinery. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components, and provide guidance to junior builders.

Must have advanced mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently while mentoring others. Travel for installs may be required inside and outside the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 4+ years’ experience in machine building or automation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems in mechanical assemblies.
• Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and prioritize building, installation, and testing of automated machinery.
• Read and redline issues according to company processes; communicate build issues.
• Integrate electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems within mechanical assemblies.
• Mentor and train Level 1 and Level 2 Machine Builders.
• Lead assembly and installation projects to meet schedule and budget.
• Follow safety guidelines and document assembly processes for continuous improvement.
