Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Microsoft 365 and infrastructure deployments, from discovery through post-cutover support. This client-facing role manages timelines, budgets, risks, and communications to ensure successful implementations and client satisfaction.

The position requires 3+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with government contracting terms (NIST SP 800-171/CMMC), and up to 25% travel. We offer a hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing Microsoft 365 and infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading complete deployments from discovery through post-cutover support.
• Experience managing hypercare periods and projects valued at more than $250,000.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CUI, ITAR/EAR, FAR/DFARS, and other government contracting terminology.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 and the CMMC Level 2 assessment process, including system security plans, plans of action and milestones, scoping, and evidence collection.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project, time, risk, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience creating end-user documentation and communications.
• Ability to work directly with clients and effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution on client engagements.
• Manage full deployments from discovery through cutover and post-cutover support.
• Lead M365 and infrastructure projects valued at $250,000+.
• Oversee migrations and cloud or data center projects.
• Coordinate remediation work with IT and security engineers across identity, network, and cloud domains.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep clients informed of status and outcomes.
• Create end-user documentation and communications for successful implementations.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and expertise.
• Direct and motivate project teams and mentor engagement staff.
• Identify additional opportunities and support business development.
