Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP seeks a Manager to join its Transaction Services Tax team in any offices. You will develop and implement transaction advisory services for privately held and publicly traded companies, private equity funds, banks, and BDCs, with opportunity across industries.

Open to location. You will interact with Partners, model transactions, prepare memoranda, review tax aspects of acquisitions, and support due diligence and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 2+ years in a mid/large professional services firm.
• CPA or JD/LLM required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with tax due diligence and deal structuring.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with Partners on client and engagement matters.
• Model financial transactions for valuation, structuring, and negotiation.
• Prepare memoranda and presentations on client companies and industries.
• Assist in tax aspects of acquisitions and merger agreements.
• Conduct due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Provide negotiation support and communicate with business owners.
