Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Manager to join the Transaction Services Tax team and lead advisory services for clients across industries. You will interact with Partners on engagements, model financials for tax and structuring, and prepare detailed analyses supporting buy- and sell-side transactions.

The role emphasizes diligence, deal structuring, and client service with opportunities for growth within a national advisory platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field; or graduate degree with 2 years of related experience.
• 2+ years of work experience in a mid to large-size professional services firm.
• CPA or JD/LLM required.
• Tax due diligence, deal structuring and post-acquisition planning experience and/or inbound/outbound international tax experience.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with strong Microsoft Suite proficiency.
• Strong written communication and commitment to client service.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with Partners on client and engagement management.
• Model financial transactions for valuation, structuring and negotiation.
• Prepare memoranda and presentations on client companies and industries.
• Review tax aspects of acquisition and merger agreements; draft tax opinions.
• Identify tax risks/opportunities and advise on alternative strategies for transactions.
• Support tax computations in financial models and assist in analyses of tax data.
