Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or related field required.
• Master's degree in Taxation or JD with LLM in taxation preferred.
• CPA and/or licensed attorney required.
• Experience leading M&A tax services engagement teams at a large national firm preferred.
• Strong market-facing skills to develop new business and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Engagement management with clients includes routinely working directly with c-suite executives to perform financial due diligence on middle-market companies in a variety of industries
• Work alongside private equity firms, strategic clients and investment banks to perform due diligence and other M&A tax activities
• Responsible for all aspects of deal execution including sourcing and managing client relationships, analysis and delivery
• Coordinate services with other practice areas of the firm
• Build relationships with existing clients and participate in networking and business development
• Provide leadership and supervision to staff and managers
