Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking an experienced professional to develop and execute transaction advisory services for a diverse client base. You will model financial transactions for valuation, structuring, and negotiation, and prepare detailed memoranda describing client companies and industries.

The role involves tax due diligence, deal structuring, and cross-functional collaboration with Partners, while delivering exceptional client service across buy-side and sell-side engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required; or a graduate degree and 4 years of related work experience.
• 5+ years of work related experience in a mid to large size professional services firm.
• CPA or JD/LLM required.
• Tax due diligence, deal structuring and post-acquisition planning experience.
• Strong written communication skills and client service commitment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Partners on client and engagement management.
• Model financial transactions for valuation, structuring and negotiation.
• Prepare memoranda and presentations describing client attributes.
• Review tax aspects of acquisition and merger agreements.
• Identify tax risks and advise on alternative strategies.
• Analyze tax computations in financial models and projections.
• Data gathering, document review and reporting.
• Research and financial analysis of target companies.
• Due diligence for buy and sell side transactions.
• Transaction structuring for tax and accounting issues.
• Negotiation support and client communications.
• Participate in marketing and recruiting activities.
