Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior Associate to lead and coordinate multiple M&A projects within our corporate development portfolio. You will develop strategy, originate opportunities, and manage live transaction processes end-to-end alongside senior management.

The role emphasizes building robust financial models, due diligence execution, and integration planning, with a focus on delivering high-quality insights for decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate development, strategy, deal advisory, or finance-centered teams preferred.
• Experience supporting live M&A/Strategy/Investment projects.
• Strong experience working within a team.
• Degree or equivalent and professional qualification (CFA, CA, ACA) required.
• Genuine passion for M&A

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple activities across our portfolio of projects, including supporting live transaction process end-to-end.
• Develop M&A strategy and pipelines and origination work on select opportunities.
• Evaluate inbounds with business teams and ensure high-quality output on deadlines.
• Build high-quality transaction-related financial models and appraisal materials.
• Take ownership of transaction workstreams (due diligence, business plan modelling, integration planning).
• Support delivery of transaction execution processes end-to-end, including coordination and planning.
