Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Washington, DC seeks a senior-level associate for its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in M&A and private equity transactions, with a strong understanding of acquisition agreements and related documentation.

Duties include drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, supporting sponsors and portfolio companies, managing client relationships, and collaborating on middle-market deal structures.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in M&A and private equity.
• Proven track record in M&A and private equity transactions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in the office at least three days per week.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the jurisdiction of the hiring office.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related documents.
• Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Manage internal and external client relationships effectively.
• Collaborate on middle-market deal structures.
