Job summary

5 Legal is seeking an associate to join its M&A and Private Equity Practice Group in the United States. Ideal candidates will have 6–8 years of M&A experience and a proven ability to lead drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents, manage deal processes, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role also requires supervising junior associates and handling day-to-day demands on a variety of M&A matters, with an emphasis on large regional, national or international law

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of M&A experience.
• Experience leading the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage M&A deals from start to close.
• Draft and negotiate term sheets, NDAs, and definitive agreements.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and outside counsel.
• Mentor junior associates and review work product.
