Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or economics.
• 4–5 years of relevant work experience in U.S. solar, wind, or energy storage development/M&A or investment banking.
• Comfort negotiating M&A transactions.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with advanced financial modeling.
• Ability to summarize complex issues clearly, in writing and verbally.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and exercise sound judgment.
• Mentoring and team management experience.
• Knowledge of renewable energy development areas (real estate, permitting, grid, offtake, tax, financing).

Responsibilities

• Manage project acquisitions: origination, valuation, structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
• Draft definitive transaction documents with internal and external counsel.
• Coordinate due diligence with internal teams and external consultants.
• Align development, engineering, procurement, and finance to underwriting and cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare memos and presentations for senior management and investment committee.
• Develop tools to monitor market activity and origination strategy.
• Support pricing and bidding for offtake contracts across a 30 GW+ portfolio.
• Lead regional strategy and budget allocation for development efforts.
• Advance growth segments through market assessments, models, and new financing structures.
• Foster strategic partnerships with equipment suppliers, operators, investors, and developers.
• Improve analytics, underwriting, deal tracking; explore AI-enabled optimization.
