Job summary

Wipfli LLP in Chicago is seeking a Senior Analyst, Corporate Development to drive financial modeling, valuation analyses, and due diligence for M&A deals. You will work with internal leaders and external stakeholders to support successful deal execution.

You will lead deal theses, diligence packs, and executive-level presentations, and collaborate across Industry and Practice teams to evaluate investment opportunities, communicating structure and economics to targets and the Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, with 3-5 years in M&A, financial modeling, and due diligence.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience managing virtual data rooms.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Discretion with highly confidential information.
• Advanced financial and analytical capabilities.
• Comfort presenting to executives and Boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence activities.
• Prepare deal theses, diligence packs, approval materials, and executive presentations.
• Contribute to transaction recommendations and deal structures for leadership and Board.
• Collaborate with internal leaders across industry, practice, and functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Assist in communicating deal structure, economics, and rationale to targets.
• Coordinate deal progression from discovery to definitive agreements.
