Job summary

Western Digital is seeking a high-caliber Corporate Development professional to build and defend complex financial models, structure deals, and translate analytical work into executive-ready memos for strategic investments and M&A.

You will lead due diligence coordination, shape investment theses, and partner with Finance, Legal, and product teams to drive evaluation and execution with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in investment banking, private equity/growth equity, corporate development, or management consulting.
• Transaction execution experience on live deals through diligence, negotiation and close.
• Exceptional financial modeling and quantitative analysis; defend assumptions under scrutiny.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling and deal economics including DCF, comps, accretion/dilution, and synergies.
• Develop investment memos, deal summaries, and Board materials for senior leadership.
• Map target landscape, research acquisition candidates, and prioritize targets with Corporate Development.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence with Legal, Finance, HR, IT and product teams.
