Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an M&A Attorney to partner with the Corporate Development team, providing end-to-end legal support for strategic transactions. The role requires drafting and negotiating core deal documents, leading due diligence, and acting as lead internal counsel on acquisitions, divestitures, investments, and partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of M&A experience, a J.D., and active U.S.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal counsel on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, investments, and strategic transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate core deal documents (NDAs, LOIs, term sheets, asset/stock purchase agreements).
• Coordinate across Corporate Development, Finance, Tax, HR, and senior management.
