Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Senior Associate in New York to lead day-to-day M&A execution under MD direction. You will build complex financial models, coordinate due diligence, and craft materials for clients and boards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of investment banking experience with meaningful, hands-on M&A transaction exposure.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to change how work gets done.
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day M&A execution (sell-side, buy-side, carve-outs, special situations) under MD direction.
• Build and oversee fully integrated financial models — 3-statement, LBO, merger/accretion-dilution, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Coordinate due diligence and data room workflows; manage Q&A processes.
• Create and refine pitch materials and IC/board presentations; engage with clients.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate research and diligence; contribute to evolving workflows.
