Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Summer Analyst/Intern for our Capital Advisors group in New York. You will work closely with senior bankers to model financial scenarios, assist with transaction execution, and help prepare client materials for M&A, restructuring, and liability management.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics, or Accounting with a 3.5+ GPA, strong quantitative and qualitative skills, and a proven ability to communicate effectively in high‑pressure

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.5 or higher.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day transaction execution under the direction of Managing Directors.
• Develop fully integrated financial models.
• Create pitch and transaction marketing documents.
• Prepare industry and client research and bespoke analysis.
• Coordinate and perform due diligence and execute M&A and restructuring transactions.
• Conduct comprehensive valuation exercises of companies and units and build client materials.
