Job summary

The People Of: Professional Services in Cleveland is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Level M&A Associate to join its Cleveland office. The successful candidate will advise corporate clients on acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and governance, with broad deal execution responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of M&A and corporate experience, strong drafting skills for purchase agreements, and a track record in governance issues.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of M&A and general corporate experience.
• Significant experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and other core transaction documents.
• Strong background in advising clients on corporate governance and structuring issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Team-oriented, self-starter mentality with strong project management skills.
• Superior academic credentials and large law firm or well-regarded boutique experience preferred.
• Admission to the Ohio Bar (or ability to waive in) required.

Responsibilities

• Manage significant deal execution responsibilities across diverse industries.
